The largest and most impressive racing series in the world, the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) is a unique motorsport spectacle in a class of its own .
The popular championship attracts around 420,000 spectators to European race tracks every year. The who’s who of the commercial vehicle industry meets there: from drivers, fleet owners, workshop managers, mechanics and commercial vehicle industry representatives.

Sustainability in Truck Racing
2026 racing season
The Goodyear FIA ETRC remains committed to sustainable motorsport, continuously improving its environmental performance. T Sport Bernau has been awarded the FIA Two-Star Accreditation for its efforts to reduce emissions.
By using 100% HVO fuel for the race truck, optimizing logistics and carpooling, and relying on 100% green electricity in the workshop, the team actively contributes to CO₂ reduction. Rainwater is collected for vehicle cleaning, while recycling and the use of environmentally friendly materials are firmly embedded in daily operations.
Looking ahead, further measures are planned, including the implementation of new technologies to reduce emissions, increasing the recycling rate by 15% within the next two years, and targeted reductions in water and energy consumption. With these steps, the team continues to drive sustainable innovation in truck racing.
A Trust-Based Partnership with PE
Ten Years – Together from the Very Start
Since the team was founded in 2016, PE Automotive has been working closely with T Sport Bernau. Over the past ten years, this partnership has evolved into a strong collaboration characterised by trust, reliability and shared sporting goals.
Since 2019, the team has been competing in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship with three-time European champion Antonio Albacete, consistently establishing themselves among the top 5.
T SPORT Bernau is now one of the best-known names in truck racing. We are proud that the team continues to develop on the track – and we are delighted to have been able to support them on this journey for the past ten years with PE products.

PE Racing Brake
Our Special Products
In addition to the PE logo on the race truck, PE is also represented with series spare parts in the truck. These can withstand the special demands of racing.
PE has also developed special products for T Sport Bernau. For example, a special racing brake disc which, thanks to a high-quality mix of materials and optimised ventilation elements inside, offers protection against overheating and cracks. In this way, the temperature peaks of over 600 °C and the extreme temperature fluctuations caused during the races can be better absorbed thanks to water cooling.
The same applies to the race-ready wheel nut. The internal hexagon nut also withstands wheel-to-wheel contact and can still be easily loosened at any time.
